Linux Sound Server

Development of a Linux Sound Server without moving Parts, which plays and controls automated sound installations, observe the needed Amplifation Units woth temperature, current and volatge sensors, takes control recordings and doing an adaptive Volume control to surrounding envronment. It is also a webserver with statistic plots of the sensor data and alert email server if it comes out of range.

For the sound installation of Max Neuhaus at the Kunsthaus Graz, a linux soundserver in collaboration with the artits has been developped, with plays soundinstallation on long time terms, holding a specific level of constance in sound quality and functionality.
