Acoustic Dialogue Segmentation With Small Microphone Arrays

Lutz Pape

By small microphone arrays it is to be possible to segment a dialog between 2 speakers with adaptive filters (adaptive sum and delay beamformer). The implementation takes place through voice recognition via LMS algorithms. The frequency range is limited to the bandwidth of language (approx. 4kHz). The algorithms are first going to be implemented in Matlab and then transferred to pd.
