Realtime Software for Audio Morphing

Heikkinen Mikko

Implementation of a real-time system for Olga Neuwirth's 'Bählamms Fest'

The task is to implement a real-time system realizing a morphing effect where a singer turns into a wolf. The task can be divided into three parts: Analyzing the singer's voice i.e. finding the fundamental frequency (pitch tracking) and loudness, adjusting the preprocessed morphs to
correspond to the singer (pitch shifting) and realizing the morphing by crossfading the signals of the singer and the morph.

The system is implemented with the PD real-time graphical programming environment.
