Portierung und Implementierung von Effekt Algorithmen in PD

For the production of the opera ‘Bählamms Fest’ from Olga Neuwirth several effect-algorithms were realized using the signal processing software MAX on a SGI O2 Workstation.

This project deals primilary with the transfer of these algorithms on a standard PC with a working PD/LINUX platform. Further the individual program sections, which ran due to arithmetic performance at that time on two separated computers, are to be united by the programming of a suitable and clear graphical user interface (GUI) under integration of the PD-library IEM-LIB. Herein also a test environment is to be integrated, with which all possible functions during the live-performance can be examined and tested in simple way.
