Following the results of the preceding project, discussing the technical aspect of measurement optimisations, this diploma thesis shall inherently focus upon the psychoacoustical aspects of acoustical measurements. A first listening experiment with a small group of people will be conducted in order to determine the acoustical annoyance of domestic appliances. Objective psychoacoustic parameters will be taken into account to model an adaptive weighting possibility for any constructive improvements.
In reference to the findings this thesis will also point out some proposals for a time-efficient, psychoacoustical enhancement of devices.
