The aim of this paper is to define a technical framework for an in-car-communication system. For the process of development it is important to split-up the requirements of the universal application into subtasks. The basic conditions for each subtask are formulated from several points of view, the development process as well as the usability. Therefore the main intention is to optimise the interaction of microphone- and loudspeaker arrays to enhance the quality of speech as well as the intelligibility of speech.
